The North
A region of magnificent forested mountains, the North offers some of the finest natural scenery in Thailand. A distinct northern culture is preserved in the many historical towns, while hilltribe people inhabit the highland.
The Central Plains
Thailand's, rice bowl', the Central Plains is an immensely fertile region typified by patchworks of emerald green paddies. Ancient cities are also located in this area which has historically been the heart of the nation.
The Northeast
The most rural part of Thailand, the Northeast offers a wonderful insight into enduring cultural traditions. It is also an area of great historical interest, and principal sights include several ancient Khmer temples.

The South
Topographically, the South is a narrow isthmus with a mountainous spine and a lush hinterland of great natural neauty. The coast and offshore islands boast some of the finest beaches in the world.
The East Coast
Generously provided with sandy beaches, shelterd bays and offshore islands, the East Coast offers some of Thailand's most complete resort facilities. The various beach locations are backed by a landscape of low green hills.
